The executive vice president of talent, live events, & creative at the company was speaking about the German just weeks after it was announced that he’d been invited to Orlando for training.
He’s got his sights set on appearing at some WWE live events in Germany in November so will have to get down to serious work sooner rather than later.
But that should be no problem for the man who’s spent his life so far working towards the top of football.
Wiese is, of course, the former Werder Bremen and Germany goalkeeper who called time on his football career in 2014 after realising his bodybuilding physique wasn’t ideal for the game.
Now he’s got his sights set on getting to the top of WWE – and Triple H admits he’s interested to see how Wiese copes in the wrestling world:

Triple H leaves Wiese in no uncertain terms that it’s going to be tough making the breakthrough in WWE.
