Cristiano Ronaldo looks like a man under pressure after footage caught him throwing a journalist’s microphone into a lake this morning.
Portugal go into their final group game of Euro 2016 knowing they’ll probably need to beat Hungary to reach the last 16.
They’ve been disappointing in their opening two matches of the competition, drawing 1-1 with Iceland before their 0-0 draw with Austria.
Cristiano has been poor in both games too, missing a number of chances against Iceland before hitting a late penalty off the post against the Austrians.
The pressure is on for the Real Madrid man to step up to the plate and deliver for his country – and that’s obviously not lost on him.
A video is being shared around Portuguese media this morning which shows Ronaldo grabbing a journalist’s microphone and tossing it into a lake after facing some questions from CMTV as the national team went out for a walk:

Background to the incident is that Ronaldo has spoken publicly in the past about his dislike for CMTV – a popular TV channel in Portugal.
They have a reputation for writing stories Ronaldo and the Portuguese national team aren’t happy with.
The Real Madrid man has even refused to answer their questions in press conferences in the past and this latest incident just adds to the belief that he’s still angry at the TV channel.
