Niko Kranjcar looks set to become Rangers‘ sixth signing of the summer, and has revealed his compatriot Nikica Jelavic sold him on the move to Glasgow.
The former Tottenham and Dynamo Kiev midfielder touched down at Glasgow Airport this afternoon after agreeing a two-year deal at Ibrox, and he was quick to point out who advised him during the negotiations:

Kranjcar played 81 times for Croatia, the last of which came back in 2013, and many of those appearances were shared by former Gers striker Jelavic.
Jelavic, who recently joined Chinese club Beijing Renhe from West Ham for £4 million, played 45 league games for Rangers between 2010 and 2012, scoring an impressive 30 goals, and helping the Gers to an SPL title and League Cup triumph.
And judging by Kranjcar’s brief comments today, Jelavic still holds his time in Glasgow close to his heart.
What do you make of Kranjcar’s arrival? Could he help Rangers land the Premiership title?
