The likes of Cesc Fabregas and Pedro are still on holiday after representing their country at Euro 2016, but Conte was in no mood for enjoying an extended break, allowing himself just over a week’s holiday after coaching Italy in France.
Indeed, his Italy side crashed out in the quarter-finals on penalties to Germany on July 2, and after a quick trip back to Italy, Conte was in London this morning barking orders at John Terry and co, and finally getting to work.
The 46-year-old former Juventus coach gesticulated wildly and marched about the training pitch as if he were still a player, as you can see from the slideshow of images above.
Conte and his new charges will set off for Austria on Friday for a week long training camp where they will face Rapid Vienna on Saturday before taking on RZ Pellets on Wednesday.
Conte will get his first taste of Premier League action against West Ham at Stamford Bridge on August 15.
How do you think he’ll fare in London?
