Celtic Fans Seem Pretty Happy to See the Back of Stefan Johansen

Stefan Johansen is on his way out of Celtic after a transfer to Galatasaray was agreed, and Hoops supporters seem pretty happy he’s leaving.

As we told you earlier today, the Norwegian international looks set to move to the Turkish giants with a medical proposed for tomorrow and a rumoured fee of £1.1 million on the table.

It’s fair to say Johansen has enjoyed a pretty mixed time in Glasgow after Neil Lennon signed him in January 2014, with fans often directing criticism his way.

He won the PFA Player of the Year award in his first full season at Parkhead, but his performances tailed off badly during last season, which saw his reputation amongst the club’s support left in tatters.

Perhaps playing under a manager like Brendan Rodgers would have breathed new life into his Celtic career, but by the looks of it we’ll never know – and this lot aren’t bothered in the slightest:

What do you think of the news? Will Celtic miss Johansen?
