Chris Sutton Compares Jordan Larsson to Dad Henrik After Rangers Tweet

Chris Sutton insists Jordan Larsson is just like his dad when it comes to stirring up controversy.

The former Celtic striker sent a message to the Swedish youngster last night following his public denial of a shock move from Helsingborgs to Rangers.

We told how a rumour was doing the rounds yesterday afternoon linking the Ibrox giants with a move for Jordan – son of Hoops legend Henrik.

When we posted the story to Twitter, we made sure to include Jordan in the tweet and he wasted no time clearing up the confusion.

While some Gers fans delighted in the prospect of a Larsson wearing their number seven and scoring against Celtic, Hoops fans were having absolutely none of the rumour.

And they had reason to be doubtful, as the young Swede shot down all talk of a switch to Ibrox.

Larsson’s tweet has received over 5,500 retweets and well over 6,000 likes – and the discussion afterwards on Twitter has been entertaining.

It certainly caught Sutton’s eye too, as Henrik’s old strike partner compared father to son in a message to Jordan:

So much for the quiet, private Henrik then?
