Erik Sviatchenko is so popular with the Celtic support he’s got a fan asking to become his secretary.
The Danish defender has only been playing for the Scottish champions since last January, but he’s already a fans’ favourite for his performances on the park and love for the club off it.
Sviatchenko regularly posts about the club, sharing messages he gets from fans – including this one from a young Hoops supporter with a rare heart condition.
He’s now screengrabbed a Facebook conversation he recently had with a fan where the supporter asks to become his secretary.
When Sviatchenko lets him down gently, the fan still won’t take no for an answer and then offers to make the defender some pasta whenever he wants it:
I get a lot of great messages but this in particular was just too good ???? pic.twitter.com/5VLoDfxyUr

You’ve got to love a dedicated fan.
That same supporter, along with the rest of the Hoops faithful, will be hoping Sviatchenko can make a quick recovery from the groin injury which ruled him out of their Champions League qualifier with FC Astana on Wednesday.
Brendan Rodgers’ men play the second leg at Celtic Park this Wednesday coming.
