Video: Fans Burn Kevin Durant’s Jersey After He Joins Golden State Warriors

Oklahoma City Thunder fans are absolutely furious this evening after star player Kevin Durant agreed to join Golden State Warriors – with some even burning his replica jersey.

Where Durant would play his basketball next season was the NBA’s biggest unanswered question this summer, with fans left wondering as he became a free agent.

But Durant ended speculation earlier today when he posted his decision on The Players Tribune website, with his two-year contract at Golden State thought to be worth an incredible $54.3 million. Not too shabby, eh?

But regardless of the payday, fans of Oklahoma are seething at the news, with several making their feelings known across social media:

Durant will now form an absolutely formidable attacking line-up at the Warriors, where he will join stars Klay Thompson, Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

What do you think of Durant’s decision – and the reaction from fans?
