Henrik Stenson Confesses to Love For Celtic Ahead of Rangers Golf Event

Henrik Stenson has confessed to his love for Celtic ahead of a golf event at Rangers tonight.

The Swedish golfer is in Scotland this week ahead of The Open Championship at Royal Troon starting on Thursday.

He will also take part in Callaway’s event at Ibrox tonight, where golfers will go up against Mark Warburton, David Weir, some first team players and some more staff.

It’s not clear exactly what the teams will be doing, but it looks like it will involve hitting a target in the middle of the Ibrox pitch.

Callaway have been plugging the event alongside Rangers all day and the golfers have answered some football questions – including Stenson.

Apparently the world number six is a big Celtic fan and had no problem confessing to that ahead of his visit to Ibrox.

Stenson also tells how countryman Henrik Larsson is his favourite player and if he wasn’t a football player, he’d be a Celtic player:

Fair play to Stenson – he’s obviously prepared to get some stick later.

The event runs between 6pm and 9pm at Ibrox and fans can join in with it on Callaway’s Facebook feed here:
