Jordan Larsson Signing For Rangers Must be the Summer’s Most Ridiculous Transfer Rumour?

Jordan Larsson Signing For Rangers Must be the Summer’s Most Ridiculous Transfer Rumour?

Scottish football fans are absolutely loving the Jordan Larsson to Rangers rumour which is circulating online this afternoon.

The Swedish youngster is a highly rated striker for Helsingborgs and has made these pages before with some brilliant finishes.

It would make sense for Rangers to be after a talented young player as Mark Warburton looks to continue strengthening his team before the start of the Scottish Premiership season.

But this is Jordan, the son of Celtic legend Henrik Larsson – so it quickly becomes one of the craziest rumours we’ve heard during a transfer window.

Imagine Larsson wearing the number seven of Rangers scoring against the Hoops at Ibrox?

It sounds unlikely, but that hasn’t stopped fans discussing the rumour on Twitter, with some Rangers supporters keen to see it happen purely for the reaction of their rivals:

Everyone else is simply laughing at how ridiculous the transfer rumour sounds – but prepared to praise whoever was behind starting it:

Of course, there could be something behind the Larsson to Rangers rumour – but we, like the rest of Scottish football, are finding it difficult to believe that Henrik would allow his son to become a player at Ibrox.

What do you think? Is this simply a rumour?
