Jordan Larsson Tells Us He’s Not Signing For Rangers

As quick as the Jordan Larsson signing for Rangers rumour started, the man himself shot it down.

The Helsingborgs striker was being mentioned with a move to Ibrox this afternoon after talk started on social media about him being a target for Mark Warburton.

It got enough reaction from supporters who absolutely could not believe Celtic legend Henrik Larsson’s son would sign for their rivals.

But Jordan has since tweeted about the rumour following our story – and it’s good news for Hoops fans:

That will be that, then!

Many Celtic fans have been keen on signing Jordan after seeing some of his fine goals for Helsingborgs in Sweden.

But the striker is only 19 and going into just his third full season as a player, working under his dad Henrik with the Swedish giants.

He was selected to represent Sweden at the Olympics next month, but his father has blocked that due to an injury crisis among his strikers.

It’s clear from his first few years in the game that Jordan will eventually make the move away from Sweden – but will it be to Celtic? Only time will tell. At least we now know he’ll never be a Rangers player.
