Leo Messi is the Latest Footballer to Dye His Hair Peroxide Blonde

It looks as though Leo Messi looks up to Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, and Manchester United’s Phil Jones – after the Barcelona ace revealed he’d copied their hairstyle.

The superstar is about to return to the Nou Camp for pre-season training, following a disappointing summer which saw Messi and his fellow Argentine team-mates lose the Copa America final to Chile in the USA.

And perhaps he thinks a new haircut equals a fresh start, after his wife showed off her husband’s drastic new look on Instagram earlier today.

Ramsey and Jones were the first high profile players to take the plunge and switch to peroxide blonde, and now the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has followed in their footsteps.

Messi has kept his styles fairly simple over the years, having emerged as a youngster with a scruffy mop top, before cutting it shorter a few years ago, but it remains to be seen how his legions of fans will take to his new blonde locks.
