Michael Bisping wants to face Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 on just two days’ notice.
Bisping stepped up for his last fight against Luke Rockhold with just two weeks’ notice to win the middleweight title.
And now he wants a crack at the light heavyweight division and Cormier.
Cormier had been set to face interim champ Jon Jones for the undisputed belt in Las Vegas this Saturday.
But Jones was sensationally pulled from the card last night over a potential anti-doping violation from a drugs test administered by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
Englishman Bisping’s willingness to take a bout at short notice paid off last time around after he KO’d Rockhold to become the first British man to win a UFC championship at any weight.
And after the shock announcement was made that Jones would be pulled from the card, Bisping was quick to throw his hat into the ring and state that he was ready to go if Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta would allow it.
Bisping said: “Ok for the record, I WILL fight DC. I love him, but if the UFC need me, I’m in!”
