Sir Alex Ferguson Hugging Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo After Euro 2016 Win is Brilliant

Sir Alex Ferguson congratulated Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo immediately after Portugal’s Euro 2016 win last night.

The legendary former Manchester United manager was in the Stade de France to watch the Portuguese shock the hosts France to be crowned champions of Europe.

He watched on as Ronaldo picked up a devastating first-half injury before going off – but his country were good enough to take France to extra time where Eder scored a brilliant winner.

Ronaldo was fit enough to climb the stadium steps to lift the trophy and Fergie was there to greet two of his former players as they walked back down to the pitch afterwards:

Ferguson looks just like any other excited fan as he tries to get the attention of Nani and Ronaldo before they paraded the trophy around the stadium.

In case you forgot, Ferguson played a huge part in the making of both players – signing them at Manchester United during his time there as manager.

Ronaldo joined Old Trafford in 2003 before going on to become one of the world’s biggest stars, while Nani arrived four years later and went on to play 230 times for the club before leaving last year.
