The New Players Tunnel at St. Pauli’s Stadium is Absolutely Crazy

St. Pauli have unveiled the new look players tunnel at their Millerntor Stadium and it’s the stuff of opposition teams’ nightmares.

The Bundesliga 2 side have decided to undergo a rather interesting re-design outside their dressing rooms, leaving their stadium’s entrance to the pitch looking like something from a horror movie.

The club have spent thousands of pounds making what is essentially a hallway look like the seventh circle of hell, or a dingy, dank European heavy metal nightclub.

Can you imagine being a player from the away side and walking through this to go out onto the pitch? It looks like the lads at St. Pauli will have an advantage before a ball is even kicked!

Some of the images on the walls include a walking wolf with what looks like knives in its back, as well as the phrases ‘welcome to hell’, and ‘go out and die’.

St. Pauli will be aiming for promotion to the Bundesliga next season, after narrowly missing out last season. There’s probably a lot of Germany’s star players hoping they don’t make it after seeing this!
