Video: Arsenal’s Joel Campbell Scores Brilliant Drilled Penalty Against MLS All Stars

Arsenal have been fired ahead in their glamour friendly currently taking place against the MLS All Stars, and it was Costa Rican winger Joel Campbell who did the honours.

The Gunners are currently taking on an American select side, crammed full of the league’s most talented players.

They may be getting on in age, but having the likes of Kaka, David Villa and Andrea Pirlo in their starting line-up would be a fierce match-up for anyone.

But Arsene Wenger’s men have made light work of things so far, with Campbell winning the spot kick, before brilliantly smashing it home:

As Campbell began his run-up, memories of Italy’s Simone Zaza sprung to mind, but there was no such drama on this occasion.

At the time this article was published, the score remains 1-0 to Arsenal.

Could this be a big season for Campbell?
