When a player makes the jump from college football to the National Football League, nobody can be sure how big an impact they can have in their first year or how good they will actually be.
Luckily, this year’s draftees are a rather confident bunch and they all appear to be raring to go ahead of the new season which kicks off in just eight weeks time.
And what better way to get the juices flowing than by asking the likes of Jared Goff, Ezekiel Elliott and Braxton Miller what they think their ratings will be in Madden 17, which is set for release August 23.
First, each player was asked to predict what their rating would be in terms of overall, speed, throwing accuracy and kick power.
Miller, Elliot and Goff all seemed-assured when it came to their ability on the field, with Miller boldly predicting that his overall juke would be 99.
As you’d expect, the creators of the popular NFL game weren’t so confident when rating this year’s rookies and some players couldn’t believe their eyes when their real overalls were revealed:

We think Elliot’s reaction sums it up best, yes the ratings might not be the highest, but that can all change after one good season…
