Renato Sanches announced himself on the world stage with a wondergoal at Euro 2016 last night.
The Portugal starlet fired home a thunderbolt against Poland to bring his side level before they eventually went on to win in penalty kicks.
The 18-year-old midfielder – who has just completed a £35million move to Bayern Munich from Benfica – has truly been a standout performer for the Portuguese in a string of average displays so far in the tournament.
And he showed what the fuss surrounding him lately has been all about with his first ever international goal.
The stunning strike prompted Adidas Football to act fast in pushing a new commercial featuring the youngster.
The sportswear giants released a new advert which sees Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane watching Sanches’ goal in France while looking rather impressed.
The French legend then hits a green button to indicate that he approves of Sanches after watching the goal.
You can check out the brand new ad in the video below. And you can bet it won’t be the last one we’ll see featuring the up-and-coming Sanches.
