The Ivory Coast international joins up with the Hoops on a one-year contract following his release by Liverpool, and links up with Brendan Rodgers for the second time in his career.
He may be 35 now, but having played for Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City during his career, Toure has bags of experience, and is likely to fight for a first-team place pretty much straight away.
Earlier today, Toure sat down with Celtic TV and described how it felt to link up with Rodgers again, and how excited he is to play in front of Celtic’s famous supporters:

Toure will wear the No.2 jersey, previously worn by Tyler Blackett, and will go straight into the squad for next weekend’s friendly against Barcelona at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.
What do you think of his first interview? And how will Toure fare in the Scottish Premiership?
