Bayern Munich’s Cheeky Twitter Account Trolls Liverpool’s Alberto Moreno

Bayern Munich‘s Twitter account has struck a low blow on Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno by laughing at the prospect of the Spaniard joining the club.

Moreno hasn’t enjoyed the best of times with the Reds for a while now, and continued his poor form from last season in the opening game of this campaign by giving away a cheap penalty against Arsenal.

Despite manager Jurgen Klopp defending the left-back, Moreno hasn’t started for Liverpool in the league since, with midfielder James Milner filling in as a temporary full-back.

Moreno’s performances have been in stark contrast to Bayern’s powerhouse David Alaba, who is considered by many to be one of the best full-backs in football today.

When the idea of swapping the pair was put to Bayern’s American Twitter account over the weekend, the reply was short and simple:

Straight to the point, eh?

To be fair, it’s probably an accurate response. Don’t expect Moreno to be turning up at Bayern any time soon.
