Celtic Fans Aren’t Sure What to Make of Drawing Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Champions League

Celtic were handed a tie with Hapoel Be’er Sheva during this afternoon’s UEFA Champions League draw.

And while the Israeli outfit are considered one of the poorer teams in the draw, Hoops fans aren’t quite sure what to make of it.

Some were clearly pleased that they had avoided drawing a club with the stature of FC Copenhagen or Dinamo Zagreb, while others remained cautious.

After all, Be’er Sheva were able to squeeze past a much-fancied Olympiacos team in the last round.

One theme which remained consistent on Twitter though, was that most fans were urging Brendan Rodgers to bolster the squad before the two teams meet later this month:

Celtic secured their place in the playoff tie with Be’er Sheva by beating Astana 2-1 at Celtic Park.

Do you fancy the Scottish champions to see off the Israeli side comfortably?

Or will they prove a far more difficult test for Brendan Rodgers’ side?
