Going into the match as firm favourites to be relegated straight back to the Championship, nobody expected much from Hull, who are in the midst of an injury crisis and still recovering from the shock of manager Steve Bruce walking out on them.
Few people expected Leicester to repeat the heroics of last season, but most expected them to take care of Hull…but when the action got started a very different set of events unfolded.
Hull were the better team throughout, and ended up as shock 2-1 victors, thanks to strikes from Abel Hernandez and Robert Snodgrass.
Claudio Ranieri’s men looked a shadow of the team that lifted the Premier League trophy in May – and now a lot of people are tipping the Foxes for the drop this season:
