Five Goals in Two Games.. Alexandre Lacazette is Rubbing it in For Arsenal Fans

Alexandre Lacazette has now got five goals in his first two games of the season for Lyon.

And that’s just going to add more agony to Arsenal fans who are annoyed that Arsene Wenger hasn’t signed the French striker yet.

It feels like Lacazette has been linked with the London club for years, but this summer has seen speculation rise to a new level.

Recent reports say Arsenal are set to miss out on him as they look to strengthen in the forward area.

But the sight of him scoring his fourth and fifth goals in just his second game of the season for Lyon will have Arsenal fans asking why they’re not in for the Frenchman.

Lacazette got three goals against Nancy last weekend and has followed that up with two from the penalty spot in his side’s 2-0 win over Caen tonight.

Lacazette got 23 goals for Lyon last season and his start to this campaign suggest he’s capable of getting more than 20 come next May.
