Lee Wallace Left Out of Scotland Squad AGAIN…And Some Fans Are Furious

Lee Wallace has been left out of Scotland‘s latest squad and some fans have been left scratching their heads.

The Rangers captain has been omitted for the Scots’ opening 2018 World Cup qualifier away to Malta, which takes place on September 4.

Left-back Wallace seems to have sacrificed his international career somewhat after deciding to stay with the Gers when they were forced to work their way back to the Premiership from League Two back in 2012.

He was regularly overlooked for Gordon Strachan’s squads during the qualifying campaign for Euro 2016, with Hull City’s Andy Robertson seen as the first choice in his position, backed-up by the likes of Derby’s Craig Forsyth and Charlie Mulgrew.

Wallace was missing from Scotland squads completely for a full two years before being recalled by Strachan for the friendlies against Italy in France at the end of May.

But the emergence of Celtic’s Kieran Tierney seems to have put knocked Wallace back down the pecking order – and a lot of Rangers fans are completely baffled by their skipper’s continued absence:

What do you make of the squad? Should Wallace be included?
