Manchester City Fans Are Buzzing That the Club is About to Sign Leroy Sane

While Jose Mourinho’s transfer wishlist clearly includes the biggest names in football, Pep Guardiola has taken a different approach, with City on the verge of signing Schalke youngster Leroy Sane.

Sane will join Nolito and Ilkay Gundogan in moving to the Etihad Stadium if the deal goes through, with Guardiola putting a great deal of emphasis on the recruitment of younger stars.

And it appears the City fans are very excited about the direction the club is going in, especially if that involves the signing of the highly-rated Sane.

Schalke took to Twitter to confirm the German international is currently in Manchester with a view to completing a £30 million move from the Bundesliga.

And the City faithful seem very pleased with this piece of business:

Sane scored eight goals in the Bundesliga last season as Schalke finished in 5th spot.

It’s understood that the player has been on City’s radar for the last few years but with the deal nearly complete, Sane could make his debut for the club against Arsenal in Gothenburg on Sunday.
