Manchester United have got their legions of supporters all over the world right up for the new forthcoming edition of FIFA, after giving us a sneak peak of Paul Pogba‘s virtual avatar in a United shirt.
As you no doubt know by now, the midfielder became the most expensive footballer of all-time earlier this week when he completed his move to United from Juventus for a fee of around £100 million.
But whilst the Red Devils have shelled out the GDP of a small country to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford, there are certain commercial advantages that come with having one of the most recognisable players in the worst on your books.
And United’s commercial department have been doing their bit today to hype the release of FIFA 17 – the club’s ‘official gaming partner’- which comes out in the UK next month:

To be fair to United fan, the team’s been a bit rubbish on FIFA for a few editions now.
It’s about time they had a few decent players again!
