Moussa Dembele Uses Conor McGregor’s ‘Surprise, Surprise’ Line to Celebrate Champions League Spot

The Celtic squad must have been watching Conor McGregor‘s UFC 202 win over Nate Diaz at the weekend if their Champions League celebrations are anything to go by.

Kieran Tierney strutted like the Notorious just minutes after the full-time whistle was blown on their 5-4 aggregate victory over Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

They lost 2-0 on the night and came very close to losing out on a Champions League group stage spot.

But Brendan Rodgers’ men did just enough to hold out for just a 2-0 defeat and will now join the rest of Europe’s top clubs in Thursday’s draw.

After Tierney gave his nod to McGregor, who beat Diaz on decision in a rematch of their UFC 196 fight on Saturday, Moussa Dembele was next up.

‘Surprise, surprise’

The French striker was obviously watching when the Irish fighter spoke to Joe Rogan in the octagon after his win and was asked for his reaction, saying: “Surprise, surprise, motherf***er – the King is back!”

Dembele came up with his own version when tweeting after qualification was assured:

If McGregor was a Celtic fan, we’re pretty sure he’d be enjoying the Hoops players stealing his moves for the night.
