Steaua Bucharest Seem Absolutely Delighted at Drawing Manchester City

Manchester City have been drawn Steaua Bucharest in the play-off qualifying round for the Champions League group stages, and the Romanian side seem absolutely delighted about it.

The Sky Blues are forced to compete in a two-legged tie against the former European Cup winners after finishing fourth in the Premier League, with the ‘prize’ of a place in the Europa League group phase going to whoever loses.

City have been handed a pretty reasonable draw when you consider they could have been handed the nightmare task of having to overcome Italian runners-up Roma, or French side Monaco.

But whilst Pep Guardiola will be pretty satisfied with the outcome, it seems Steaua are two – judging by their social media accounts:

Well, at least they’re confident.

The first-leg will take place on August 16 in Romania, with the return leg six days later in Manchester.

How do you think City will fare?
