Talkingbaws Tipsters Face Off With Their Best Weekend Bets

Last weekend saw both of our tipsters narrowly miss out on winners – one goal messing up both of their trebles.

Craig Borland has already notched one victory so far this season, with Ryan Donnelly yet to pick up a point. Given the very attractive odds on show this weekend, you would be mad not to back one of our guys.

Here are this weekend’s tips, with fantastic odds brought to you by our betting partner Ladbrokes.

My first bet of this weekend’s treble is ST JOHNSTONE TO SCORE OVER 1.5 GOALS AGAINST ICT @ 6/4. Inverness have had a terrible start to the season, winless in their last four matches, conceding 11 goals in the process. St Johnstone on the other hand have had a solid start, losing only once to a buoyant Celtic last Saturday, whilst managing to score two goals. Given the attractive odds on show, I would be mad not to include St Johnstone as my first bet this week.

We then move down to England, with MAN UNITED TO SCORE OVER 1.5 GOALS AGAINST HULL @4/6. This is certainly my pick of the weekend, and I fancy United to run riot on Saturday. They have yet to lose in their first three competitive matches of the season and with the main man Zlatan Ibrahimović in superb form, we wouldn’t bet against them notching three or four.

My final bet of the weekend takes me to the Championship and BTTS BETWEEN BLACKBURN AND FULHAM @ 8/11. Blackburn’s last three outings have seen BTTS, whilst Fulham have been involved in BTTS in their last five games. With equally shaky defences on show, and a multitude of attacking options, we have no doubt there will be a few goals in this one.

Starting this week’s treble off with Scotland’s in form team, ALLOA TO SCORE OVER 1.5 GOALS @ 2/3. Alloa have scored eleven goals in three games, and have yet to lose in the league or cup this season. The league’s in form striker, Greig Spence, has managed to notch up an impressive goal per game ratio, so we wouldn’t bet against him adding to his tally on Saturday.

My next bet takes us to Germany and a fixture that has produced an average of 3.8 goals in ten meetings – Borussia Monchengladbach versus Bayer Leverkusen. @8/11 FOR BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE COMBINED OVER 2.5 GOALS, it’s hard to pass this one up. In four of the last six games between these sides, they have managed to score more than three goals, so easy to see why I’ve included as part of my treble.

Last but not least, I am going for JUVENTUS TO SCORE OVER 1.5 GOALS @ EVS, against their old foes Lazio. Gonzalo Higuain has already hit the ground running at Juve, and we wouldn’t bet against him adding a few more away to Lazio tomorrow. With an average of two goals scored in their last 10 matches, and an envious away record, Juventus make up the last pick up of our weekend treble.

Good luck to everyone and remember to give us a follow on Twitter @talkingbets.
