Antonio Conte’s reaction to Diego Costa’s winner against West Ham was as brilliant as you’d expect.
The Italian manager got off to a winning start in his first competitive game as Chelsea boss as goals from Eden Hazard and Costa cancelled out James Collins’ volley.
It went according to the plan for the majority of the night for Conte and his Blues charges, with Hazard’s penalty coming as reward for a dominant first-half and opening to the second period.
But Collins’ goal would have had fans inside Stamford Bridge worried – until Costa shot between the West Ham defender’s legs to score a late winner.
Conte was his usual excited self on the touchline throughout the game and reached his peak while celebrating the Spanish striker’s goal:

Chelsea fans will love seeing that.
That result means the London giants get their season off to a winning start and will give the whole club a big boost going into the season.
Chelsea play Watford next and follow that up with games against Burnley and Swansea before playing Liverpool and Arsenal back to back.
