Arsenal fans could be heard singing ‘We Want Wenger Out’ during their team’s 0-0 draw with Leicester this evening.
The Gunners went into the game at the King Power Stadium looking to get their first win of the season after losing 4-3 at home to Liverpool last weekend.
But that was always going to be tough given Leicester are English Premier League champions and should be strong again this campaign.
On the face of it a 0-0 draw was probably the right result, as both teams failed to produce any top quality moments in the final third.
The Foxes will feel aggrieved at Mark Clattenburg refusing to give them penalties after Danny Drinkwater went down in the box first-half before Ahmed Musa took a tumble in the second.
But their fans will be happy that they more than coped with a good Arsenal team – and gained a positive result just a week after kicking off their title defence with a 2-1 defeat to newly-promoted Hull.
As for the Arsenal supporters – they are not happy. And, as usual, Arsene Wenger is taking the brunt of their ill-feeling.
One fan caught footage of the away support at the King Power chanting ‘Wenger Out’ as the team headed for a 0-0 draw late on:

While that video may not accurately reflect the whole of the Arsenal support – many of whom back the legendary manager – it’s clear there is unrest.
Wenger has been quiet in the summer transfer window aside from doing deals for Rob Holding, Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano.
Despite the poor start to the season, only some more world class signings may appease a fanbase frustrated at their lack of league success over recent campaigns.
