Celtic fans have received a heart-warming thank you from children at a Palestinian refugee camp after their showing of solidarity at Parkhead last week.
Despite being warned by UEFA before their tie against Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Champions League play-off round on Wednesday, thousands of Celtic supporters raised the Palestinian before and during last week’s tie.

Football’s European governing body have now opened disciplinary proceedings against the Scottish champions after clearly stating that political statements are banned in football, and the Hoops could now be facing a heavy fine.
But regardless of the forthcoming punishment, many supporters will be pleased to see the video message above from The Lajee Centre, a Palestinian children’s centre in Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem.
The clip was produced following the show of support and, more importantly, after Celtic fans clubbed together to raise a whopping £25,000 n less than 24 hours for humanitarian and medical area for the area.
