Video: Amazing Fan Cam of Neymar Scoring the Winning Penalty in Olympics Final

Brazil beat Germany 5-4 on penalties last night to win their first men’s Olympic football gold medal, with Neymar scoring the decisive spot kick.

And luckily, one fan at the Maracana had their phone at the ready and took an outstanding video of the moment the Barcelona star outwitted the German goalkeeper to win gold for his country in Rio.

Neymar had scored a free-kick in the first-half, a goal which cancelled out Max Meyer’s strike for the Germans.

However, the score remained 1-1 after the final whistle, meaning penalty kicks were needed to separate the two teams/

And after Germany’s Nils Petersen had his penalty saved, the pressure fell on Neymar… who coolly slotted the ball home:

Brazil’s victory comes two years after Germany thrashed Brazil 7-1 in the 2014 World Cup semi-finals in Belo Horizonte.

This morning, Usain Bolt congratulated the team as he uploaded a picture of Neymar celebrating using his trademark lightening bolt pose:
