Video: Garth Crooks’ Reaction to Mesut Ozil’s Goal v Watford is Hilarious

Garth Crooks couldn’t hide his delight at Mesut Ozil‘s goal against Watford this afternoon.

The former Stoke, Tottenham, Manchester City, West Brom and Charlton player is now a pundit for BBC and was appearing on their Final Score programme earlier.

Presenter Jacqui Oatley was in the middle of speaking when Crooks – watching the Arsenal game alongside Kevin Kilbane – started losing it over Ozil’s goal.

To be fair to him, Ozil’s goal was a cracker – as he burst on to a great Alexis Sanchez cross to power a header home.

Crooks’ response, though, is even better:

That’s probably the way every Arsenal fan reacted seeing their German playmaker head them into a 3-0 lead before half-time at Vicarage Road.

Ozil’s goal came in a 3-1 win for Arsenal, with Santi Cazorla and Sanchez getting on the scoresheet too before Roberto Pereyra scored a consolation goal for the home side.

Arsene Wenger was delighted post-match and even confirmed two new signings in the shape of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez.

Both players are expected to be available for Arsenal’s first game after the international break when they take on Southampton at the Emirates.
