Video: Jordan Henderson’s Highlights From Liverpool v Burton Will Have You in Stitches

He may be Liverpool captain, but Jordan Henderson seems to be getting a lot of stick recently from his own supporters.

The 26-year-old was the subject of a brutal highlights compilation following the Reds’ 2-0 defeat away at Burnley on Saturday in only the second Premier League match of the season.

And now Henderson has been given the similar treatment again following Liverpool’s win over Burton Albion in the League Cup last night.

Henderson skippered his team-mates to an emphatic 5-0 away win over the newly-promoted Championship side, but his own contribution has been questioned somewhat in the clip below.

Now, we know we really shouldn’t laugh but the way this is edited together makes it hard not to:

Lets be honest, this makes him look really shit, doesn’t it – but surely he’s better than this, no?

Henderson was linked with a move away from the Reds last summer – perhaps he should go somewhere he’s a bit more loved, eh!
