Video: Kieran Tierney Swaggers Like Conor McGregor at UFC 202 After Celtic Qualify

Kieran Tierney swaggered like Conor McGregor at UFC 202 after Celtic beat Hapoel Be’er Sheva on aggregate to reach the Champions League group stages.

It was a seriously worrying night for everyone involved with the club as the Israeli champions pulled two goals back early on in the second half to take the aggregate score to 5-4.

And it just got more nerve-wracking for Hoops supporters as their team struggled to get a foot-hold in the game and Hapoel pushed and pushed for the goal which would take them through.

Luckily for Brendan Rodgers’ side, they managed to hold on to a 2-0 defeat and advanced 5-4 on aggregate – reaching the group stages of Europe’s premier competition for the first time since the 2013/14 season.

The swagger

So you can understand why the players were delighted at full-time – including Tierney, who channeled his inner-McGregor as he swaggered on the pitch at full-time.

In case you missed McGregor’s entrance to UFC 202 at the weekend, it looks inspired by WWE owner Vince McMahon:

And Tierney was obviously watching and adopted it tonight:

Celtic will now go into the Champions League group stage draw on Thursday, joining European football’s big guns.

And maybe Rodgers will look to strengthen his team with some big-money signings between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
