Video: Leo Messi Sets Up Luis Suarez With Outrageous Overhead-Kick

Leo Messi came up with one of the most audacious assists of his glittering career this evening when he set-up Luis Suarez for a goal against Sampdoria.

The two sides were competing in the 51st Joan Gamper Trophy, played annually to celebrate the life of Barcelona’s founding father, and tonight the club’s greatest-ever player came up with something very special to mark the occasion.

The Nou Camp has been left stunned with Messi’s incredible feats of brilliance over the years, but tonight will genuinely be high up in his highlight reel whenever he decides to hang up his boots.

With the friendly poised at 0-0 in the first-half, Messi simply did what Messi does:

As if it wasn’t any skin off his nose, Messi then added a stunning goal of his own to the proceedings with this free-kick:
