Liverpool are definitely enjoying their International Champions Cup clash against Barcelona.

It’s not often that can be said before, during or after a game against the Spanish giants, but it’s been a straightforward afternoon for Jurgen Klopp’s men at Wembley.

The first half got off to the best possible start when Sadio Mane hammered home inside the box to give the Reds a 1-0 lead.

And despite Barca then going on to dominate the rest of the half, Liverpool still went into the break ahead.

Like most, we expected Lionel Messi and the rest of his Barca team-mates to hit back after the restart, but Liverpool killed any thought of that with goals inside the first three minutes of the second half.

First Javier Mascherano put into his own net after some good play by Mane on the wing:

And Divock Origi – on as a substitute – made it 3-0 just a minute later when he raced in behind the Barca defence to fire past Claudio Bravo:

As preparations for a new season go, beating Barcelona 3-0 is pretty much perfect for any team in world football.

Liverpool fans – how impressed were you with your team’s performance?
