Video: Liverpool’s Horrible Defending Allows Mohamed Salah to Score For Roma

Liverpool‘s defending all but gifted Roma a goal in the sides’ pre-season friendly in America, with Mohamed Salah pouncing to score from close range.

The two teams were evenly poised at half-time in the glamour clash, with goals from Edin Dzeko and Sheyi Ojo leaving the score level at 1-1.

Jurgen Klopp opted to make 10 changes at the break, with just Georginio Wijnaldum left on from the first period, and introduced the likes of Andre Wisdom and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

It wasn’t long before the youngsters were exposed at the back, with the strong Roma line-up eventually finding a way through the defence.

Florenzi’s left-foot cross was met by the head of Dzeko, and when Simon Mignolet could only parry, Salah was on hand to prod it home:

They may be young, but there’s no doubt  Kloppwill be pretty furious with the naive and languid defending.

How many attempts were Roma allowed?!
