A Manchester United fan hopes his song for Marcus Rashford catches on with the rest of the Red Devils support.
The young striker is about the only player in Jose Mourinho’s squad who doesn’t have a song yet, despite becoming a firm fans’ favourite after breaking into the first team last season.
Anthony Martial’s is a great two fingers up to the English press for the way they doubted the high transfer fee spent on the Italian striker.
While Zlatan Ibrahimovic got a song before he had even kicked a ball in red.
Rashford, on the other hand, hasn’t got a chant 20 games and nine goals into his United career – but that could all be about to change.
One United supporter has shared a video on Twitter of a group of fans giving their tribute to the young striker and hopes it catches on:

In case you missed the words, it goes like:
“From Wythenshawe, and loves to fight,
“He’s born to play, in red and white,
“So listen close, it must be said,
“Like Manchester, Rashford is red,
“Rashford is red, Rashford is red (repeat).”
This song catching on would be acceptable reward for a player who has shone in a United shirt since being handed his first team debut by Louis van Gaal back in February.
Rashford inspired United to end the season strongly and was an important contributor in their run to winning the FA Cup despite being just 18.
He deserves to hear this chanted around Old Trafford.
