Video: Marc Albrighton Won’t Want to Face Denis Suarez and Lionel Messi Again in a Hurry

Marc Albrighton won’t be wanting to face Denis Suarez and Lionel Messi again in a hurry.

The Leicester City winger was in the team from the start as the English Premier League title holders took on the La Liga champions in the International Champions Cup last night in Stockholm.

It was no surprise to see the Foxes on the receiving end of a beating from Barca, with Messi and Luis Suarez both instrumental in a 4-2 victory.

But spare a thought for Albrighton, who was embarrassed by Denis Suarez and Messi throughout the game.

The first moment came 10 minutes in when Suarez brilliantly turned Albrighton, forcing the English winger to dangle out a leg which only ended up injuring him in the process:

Albrighton did recover – but obviously didn’t learn his lesson. This time, he rushed in on Messi at the edge of the box and forgot to close his legs.

Messi didn’t need a second invitation to nutmeg:

Albrighton better hope Leicester don’t draw Barcelona in the Champions League group stages this season.
