Video: Niko Kranjcar Surprises Young Rangers Fan By Turning Up At His House

Niko Kranjcar is quickly playing his way into the hearts of Rangers fans on the pitch.

And the Gers new boy is also doing his best to make sure they take to him off it.

The Croatian attacker – who joined the Ibrox club on a two-year deal earlier this summer – has even been taking the time to meet some of the supporters personally.

To help promote the Light Blues’ family section season ticket initiative, Kranjcar paid one young Gers fanatic a visit at his home.

The former Tottenham and QPR ace turned up to surprise the young lad Ethan – and gave him some signed merchandise to mark the occasion.

Kranjcar, 31, then joined Ethan for a kick-about in the back garden.

But he was caught completely off guard as the youngster fired a shot straight at him from close range.

A few inches lower and it would be hard to imagine Kranjcar laughing it off like it did.

Kranjcar is in line to make his league debut for Rangers in tomorrow’s season-opener against Hamilton.

Mark Warburton’s men will make their first top flight appearance in four years as they kick off their campaign against the Accies at Ibrox.
