Kranjcar, now 31, joined the Gers on a two-year deal earlier this summer but has endured a bit of a torrid time in Glasgow so far.
His form and fitness have been called into question, particularly following the 1-1 Premiership draw at home to Hamilton at the weekend, with many supporters expecting more from the former Spurs and QPR star.
But, as we told you earlier today, manager Mark Warburton has urged fans to keep the faith, and there are signs that the old Kranjcar is returning.
The opposition may have been League One’s Peterhead, but there’s no doubting the quality of his opening goal.
