Wilfried Zaha to Spurs? A lot of Fans Can’t Get Their Head Around It

It looks like Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha could soon be heading across London to sign for Tottenham – but a lot of supporters have no idea why or how the move came about.

The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Selhurst Park before being snapped up by Manchester United back in 2013 for £15 million, but the winger found first-team opportunities limited with the Red Devils.

He only re-signed for Palace on a permanent basis back in 2015, but it now looks like he could be a Spurs player before the transfer window slams shut on August 31.

According to Sky Sports, Zaha is keen on the chance to play Champions League football at White Hart Lane, with a fee of £15 million mentioned.

It’d be a big blow to Palace, who lost fellow winger Yannick Bolasie to Everton earlier this month, and have lost their opening two Premier League fixtures.

But do Spurs really need him? And why Palace entertain this bid in the first place?

The internet has been collectively scratching its head:

What do you think? Would do well at Tottenham?
