Video: Carlos Tevez Sent Off For Boca Juniors After Calling Referee’s Sister a “Wh*re”

Carlos Tevez was given his marching orders during Boca Juniors‘ victory over Belgrano yesterday, after the Argentinian frontman allegedly insulted the referee’s sister.

Tevez had given Boca a 1-0 lead on the half-hour mark, before a miss-timed tackle saw the former Manchester United and City striker receive a deserved yellow card.

And Tevez was clearly incensed by the referee’s decision, as he went on to launch a foul-mouthed insult and called German Delifno’s sister a “whore”.

The referee, having heard Tevez’s remark, immediately re-approached the player and produced the red card:

Tevez has never been the sort of player who likes to fly under the radar.

In 2011, he famously refused to warm up during Manchester City’s match against Bayern Munich and was expelled from the team by then manager Roberto Mancini.

Not that Tevez’s bad behaviour and subsequent dismissal affected Boca, as they eventually won their match 3-0.
