Celtic Fans Hating Steve McManaman’s Commentary on Manchester City Game

Celtic fans are hating Steve McManaman’s commentary on their Champions League clash against Manchester City tonight.

The Hoops are currently drawing 3-3 with the English giants after a crazy first hour in the game.

Moussa Dembele opened the scoring for the home side before City equalised through Fernandinho.

Celtic were soon ahead again through Raheem Sterling’s own goal, but City equalised just before half-time when Raheem Sterling passed into the bottom corner.

The start to the second half was no slower either, as Dembele brilliantly volleyed in, but, again, City responded – this time through Nolito.

There are reasons to praise Celtic, but probably not in McManaman’s book as he’s been rarely given them the credit they deserve while focusing on the negatives for the visiting side.

Reaction

As you’d expect, Hoops fans aren’t too happy – and have taken to Twitter to vent about the Englishman who’s commentating for BT Sport:
