Cesc Fabregas appears to have killed speculation that he is on the brink of leaving Chelsea in the summer, insisting that he wants to play 100 more games for the Blues.
After becoming an ever-present under Jose Mourinho, Fabregas appears to have lost his place under new manager Antonio Conte, having started every Premier League match so far this season on the subs’ bench.
Last week, The Guardian reported that Fabregas was to join AC Milan in the summer, with the article even claiming the Serie A giants had agreed a loan fee for the 29-year-old midfielder.
But today, via his own Twitter page, Fabregas has indirectly address such rumours, and appears pretty settled where he is:
It was an honour to play my 100th game for this great club against Liverpool. I sincerely hope i can play 100 more starting from tomorrow. ?

It looks like we can expect to see Fabregas in the starting XI for the League Cup tie at Leicester tomorrow evening- and probably for a bit longer than some may have expected.
What do you make of his tweet? And does he have a long-term future at Stamford Bridge?
