The Real Madrid striker may have missed out on the Ballon d’Or award in January at the hands of his Barcelona rival.
And Ronaldo may have won the Champions League and Euro 2016 with club and country respectively over recent months.
But undoubtedly his biggest honour is becoming the top rated player in hugely popular EA SPORTS computer game FIFA 17.
Of course, we’re only kidding about that achievement ranking above the real accomplishments of the Portuguese superstar, but it’s still a pretty big deal – especially for the millions of gamers who will play FIFA 17 when it’s released later this month.
EA have been busy releasing the players ranked 50 to 4 over the last few days – and now the top three is in order, with Neymar coming in third, Messi in second and Ronaldo in first.
Barca and Brazil striker Neymar gets a rating of 92 – just one off the 93 rating of team-mate Messi.
But the highest rating is reserved for Ronaldo, who comes in at 94.
That’s no doubt what he deserves after a ridiculous season which saw him win the Champions League, Euros and score 51 goals in 48 games for Real Madrid.
