Dele Alli has shared his delight after signing a new six-year contract at Tottenham.
The Spurs midfielder may yet be waiting to really come alive in this new English season, but Mauricio Pochettino has plenty of faith in his player.
So much faith he’s prepared to extend Alli’s contract until 2022 – just eight months after he was given a new deal until 2021 after his breakthrough at White Hart Lane.
There’s no doubt that Alli is Spurs’ biggest midfield hope and is expected to develop into a top player for both club and country in the coming years.
Delight
So you can understand his delight at being rewarded by Pochettino and the north London club:
Delighted to sign a new deal with this amazing club, thank you to all the fans for your support so far????#COYS

Alli has played in six games so far for Tottenham this season, but has only managed a one-goal return for the club.
And while today’s news will be welcome for Pochettino, his team-mates and the supporters, they’ll be hoping he can return to top form to help them challenge for the Premier League title again this season and make a name for themselves in the Champions League.
