‘Ghost’ of Brazilian Side Gremio is Haunting Rivals Internacional to Get Them Relegated

Some supporters will do just about anything to harm the prospects of their bitter rivals, but Gremio fans in Brazil have really taken things to the extreme.

On Wednesday night, Gremio – who are currently eighth in the Brazilian top-flight – defeated Palmeiras at home, and one of the big talking points afterwards was a rather bizarre sighting in the crowd.

As you can see in the main image above, one supporter had turned up in a white sheet with eye holes cut out, and was prancing around pretending to be the ghost of Internacional.

What’s more, this isn’t the first time this ‘ghost’ has been seen.

The prankster has been doing the rounds on social media, and last week posed outside Internacional’s stadium with the letter ‘B’ on his chest, to signify the second division:
